Hello and Good morning everybody!!
I am so in the mood to do this post because I cannot stress how important Budgets can be! Lately I have been dealing with the effects of a crappy ex-relationships. It turns out I owed money that he didn't pay so I wasn't receiving my baby bonus for the past two months! That's almost 1000$ I have missed out on and I have had to scrape up all the couch money I could to pay all my bills.
Making a budget in my life takes some time. I have to write many things out and plan what money I need where. The main aspects for budgets are:
->Accomodations ( Rent)
->Insurance (Car, Home, Health)
->Utilities (hydro, water, heat)
-> life necessities (Food, diapers, baby food)
With all of these numbers out of the way. Than I calculate how much Money I make each paycheck and write that number out. I than pull the money away from my paychecks and apply it to my chart on where each cent needs to go. The extra money left over if there is any goes into savings or goes towards extras like clothing or baby toys.
I opened an RESP for my daughter when she was just a few months old so since then I have put 20$ a pay into her account. Thankfully I can afford to do this every month that I am getting baby bonus. Every Child support payment I get, goes towards her necessities or into her RESP account.
Trust Me I know its hard when your struggling trying to let go of your old LULU lifestyle or buying your purses and shoes. Its time to put that all aside and start planning your financial future.
:) Hope this helped getting you started on making your monthly budgets <3
